10 STEPS TO PIMPLE FREE
1.Do not touch or pop the pimple. It will only make the pimple more obvious and risk infection and scarring. Instead, take up the following routine, twice a day, until it disappears.
2.Wash your hands thoroughly before you begin to touch your face.
3.Wash your face gently but thoroughly with a mild, medicated soap and warm water.
4.The water shouldn't feel hot, and lukewarm is a little too cool. Calamansi (sliced) rubbed on the pimple also helps it dry out faster. Also, get a washcloth and lay it under hot/ very warm water and put it on your face, to open pores, then rub an ice cube all over your face to close the pores, this helps if you wake up during the night and you find your face to be oily, do this however many times you want.
5.Do not use a washcloth, as the scrubbing action could pick up and distribute bacteria to other parts of your face. It is best to use your hands.
6.Wash for about 30 seconds.
7.Pat your skin dry with a towel.
8.Apply a benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid topical cream on the pimple. If the spot is under the surface of the skin and hurts to the touch, use benzoyl peroxide. Salicylic Acid should work well for all other acne spots.
9.After topical treatment is dry, apply a basic face moisturizer (preferably allergy-tested, fragrance free, and oil free). Without moisturizing, the skin around the pimple can dry and irritate your skin, possibly making the pimple more inflamed and noticeable. Some contain a mild sunscreen, which is often recommended with some acne washes and medications.
10. Cover the pimple with medicated concealer (optional).

TREATMENT FOR MILD OR MODERATE ACNE
* Avoid touching your face. Stop putting your hands by your face! I am often guilty of this resting my hand on the side of my head while reading. Also rubbing or bracing your chin is another common problem when thinking. Avoid rubbing, touching, or itching your skin with your hands. Your hands contain a lot of bacteria that can cause acne flare-ups. It is probably one of the most difficult things to avoid since much of the hand to face contact throughout the day we are unconscious of. Make it a habit to avoid hand contact and be conscious of it during the day to avoid bacteria.
* Avoid the temptation to pick, prick and squeeze your acne. This will send the infection deeper into the skin and can cause severe scarring.
* For mild to moderate acne, you can use over- the- counter topical ointments, solutions, lotions or gels that contain salicylic acid or azelaic acid as an alternative to benzoyl peroxide. Resorcinol, salicylic acid, and sulfur help break down blackheads and whiteheads. Salicylic acid also helps cut down the shedding of cells lining the follicles of the oil glands.
* Topical antibiotic solutions and lotions can also be applied.
* Tea tree oil is a natural antibiotic and antibacterial agent and has a drying effect on the skin. It keeps the P. Acnes bacteria at bay along with decreasing facial oiliness, which makes this oil a worthwhile investment.
* Sulfur helps to heal existing blemishes by unblocking pores.
* Alpha or Beta Hydroxy Acids (AHA or BHA) works by keeping the skin exfoliated. Glycolic acid, the most well-known of the bunch is a useful adjuvant therapy for mild acne. Mandelic acid, a lesser known one, but one that combines the keratolytic properties of glycolic acid with natural antibacterial properties that help reduce the presence of P. acnes, may be considered a more effective alpha hydroxy acid in treating acne lesions. It is also much less irritating than glycolic acid, a factor that may be very important to those with sensitive skin who are unable to use other agents such as Retin-A, benzoyl peroxide, sulfur, or salicylic acid. It is effective in treating mild cases of acne on its own, and can be used successfully with other therapies on moderate acne. These treatments are usually effective for mild to moderate acne problems only."

THE TRUTH ABOUT PROACTIV
I know that people say Proactive works, on some people it sure does, but most people I heard who use it either makes it worse, or just doesn't do anything for them as a result of possible allergy, since acne creams and washes are medications there's a possible chance in more breakouts as a result of allergy, no one can actually know for sure what kind to use to get rid of it soon, I suggest going to your family's doctor and asking him about topical creams, and if you find that one is working on you for a period of time, but then stops working and acne comes back, it could be stress, because with stress comes fidgeting, and with fidgeting comes possible increase to "pop, touch or pick your pimples", so don't try that, I suggest if a pimple is really big and hurts and is feel like it's about to pop, is to take a warm, wet, wash cloth, and place and hold it on the infected pimple it will soon come out perfectly, if you pop it with your fingers, then that's more bacteria from your fingers, and....no pimple just goes away, there is always infection left inside, but if you pop one with your fingers, just grab an acne pad and hold it on the pimple that was popped, it will soon dry up, and then you can go back to using your medication prescribed.
Acne
Most people who suffer from acne go out and spend good money on common over-the-counter acne treatment प्रोडक्ट. The truth is, most of these products are full of chemicals that can actually slow down the healing of acne, and irritate your skin, causing farther breakouts। Here are a few tips to heal acne।
- Baking soda can be used as a great scrub. To start off, you'll want to mix a small amount of baking soda with some water for form a paste. Gently massage the paste into your skin for ten to fifteen seconds. Then rinse the baking soda off, and pat your face dry with a clean towel.
- Lemon or lime juice can also be substituted for vinegar. Both of these juices are rich in citric acid, and can exfoliate your skin very well, halting the growth of acne spots, as well as fading previous, non-active acne quicker.
- Crack an egg, removing the yolk so that just the egg whites are left behind. Beat these egg whites, and apply them directly to your face. Let it sit for fifteen minutes, and then rinse the egg off.
- Aloe Vera has been used for many years in kitchens for topical application to burns. Another benefit of aloe is that it can prevent scaring, fade marks and help heal acne spots.
- Each time you wash your face, use sugar to scrub it, at least once a day, for two weeks, to rid yourself of acne.
- Soak cotton wool in mint juice, and apply every day.
- Apply crushed marigold leaves on acne.
- Boil and mash plums to get 8 teaspoons of pulp. Add a teaspoon of almond oil, and apply on the face.
- Make a paste of turmeric powder, and apply evenly on the acne.
- Mix together neem leaves paste, a quarter teaspoon of turmeric powder, sandalwood paste and gram flour. Apply on the acne and let it dry well before rinsing.
- Powder half a cup a whole green gram. Mix it with two tablespoons wheat bran. Regular application of this will clear skin of acne.
First, I understand where you're coming from. I grew up with really bad acne, not only on my face but on my body as well. It was embarrassing and I tried everything including cleansers, creams, prescription medications, antibiotics, over the counter medications, and even shots from the dermatologist (ouch!) to get rid of it. I never did until many years later when it didn't matter as much. Here's what I found out after lots of research and trial and error, the hard way. It's not a topical issue, it doesn't help much to treat it from the outside, it's an inside job. When you treat it from the outside it's like treating the symptoms, not the cause.
You'll hear from many people that's not the case, and it's usually because they want you to buy their creams or lotions, and keep buying them month after month after month (or they haven't experienced the truth). Of course, when you stop using it (as you've experienced) your blemishes come back... because you're not treating the cause. And the costs for all of these routines/drugs add up month after month. If you think about it logically, it makes sense. Why do we get rashes, breakouts, or other skin irritations? It's usually because of something we ate, something that wasn't meant to be put on our skin, something that caused us stress and our body reacts to all those things. Bottom line is that most every cause of acne is related to what you eat, how you feel and how you take care of yourself. Your skin is a reflection of what's on the inside. We have lots of toxins building up in our systems and they have to be cleaned out on the inside and that will reflect on the outside. The blemishes, rashes, acne, etc are indications that your body is reacting to what you're eating, to stress, toxins, chemicals, hormones... literally a great number of things.Basically what I did in a nutshell was clean out my system by taking out the processed and junk foods, and added as much fresh fruits and vegetables to my diet as possible.
THE KEY
This part is key. I also started drinking a lot of water daily, starting with 3 or 4 glasses when I wake up (adding a squeeze of fresh lemon at times). I also got more active every day, walking, running, sports, jumping, whatever, just getting active. It not only gave me more energy, it help flush out the toxins that were clogging up my system.
MORE TIPS FOR CLEAR SKIN
The following tips for clear skin will help you achieve a beautiful and glowing skin. There is not really a secret to flawless looking skin, much depends on the adequate care that you give to your skin type , your lifestyle and what you put in your mouth.
Tips For Clear Skin
1- First you need to know what type of skin you have and then buy the specific skin care products for your skin. Read here about skin care ingredients and what they can do for your skin.
2- Stay away from fast food. Instead prepare healthy meals at home, such as soups and salads with plenty of fresh vegetables. Also eating plenty of fruit, which is rich in antioxidant vitamins, see skin vitamins , will help you fight free radicals and improve aging skin . Try to eat a balanced diet, including these super foods to help you maintain a clear skin. Read this related article lemons to clear skin for lemon recipes to clear the skin.
3- Drinking water every day will help get rid of toxins that accumulate in the organism due to poor diet. It will help to improve the skin’s complexion. Aim for four to six glasses a day in winter and up to eight glasses a day during summer time or when doing exercise.
4- Wear sunscreen to protect the skin from the sun. The sun is the main cause of premature skin aging and can worsen other skin conditions. It has to be at least SPF 15 or more if you stay outdoors for long. Use a skin care product that protects the skin from environmental damage. The following skin care product Sothys Oxyliance Mask has excellent reviews. This seaweed mask will protect your skin from pollution, absorbing impurities and leaving you with clear, radiant skin.More tips for clear skin
5- Stress is very bad for our health and for the skin too. There are several ways to deal with stress: meditation, visualization, deep breathing, yoga, closing your eyes and counting to ten slowly…
6- Having an exercise routine, even if is moderate will help improve circulation and blood flow, which will give you glowing skin.
7- Sleeping seven or eight hors at night is essential if you want to avoid under eye bags and dull skin. Sleep on your back to avoid sleeping wrinkles and with a pillow higher than the rest of the body, see eye skin care
8- Your lifestyle plays an essential role on how your skin looks. Excess of alcohol, late nights, drugs and smoking, see smoking wrinkles are one of your skin’s worst enemies.
10- Don’t be tempted to touch your skin or squeeze any spots because you will carry bacteria from your fingers. Always wash your hands before applying skin care products.
11- Don’t mask the skin with heavy make up, it will clog the pores and suffocate the skin, remember that less is more. Use lighter foundations or tinted moisturizers if you have mature skin. So far, the best make up that I have found is mineral make up; it covers well without caging the skin. Philosophy Supernatural Air Brushed Canvas SPF-Natural is a great mineral make up that covers well, is easy to apply and leave you with air brushed skin.
12- Never ever go to bed with your make up on. Always cleanse your face at night, even if you haven’t used any make up product. Following a routine is the best for your skin: cleanse, exfoliate once a week, use a facial mask at least once a week after exfoliating the skin, use a moisturizer during the day and a nutritive at night. Use an anti aging skin serum if you have aged skin.Sometimes no matter how much we take care of our skin, is not enough to achieve the perfect skin we are after. Although all these tips for clear skin will help you get a better complexion it won’t solve all of your skin problems. If you suffer from skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, eczema…or maybe sunspots, enlarged pores, deep wrinkles…you will have to let in the professionals. There are plenty of anti aging treatments and skin rejuvenation procedures to treat all these skin conditions. If you are thinking on having any of these treatments done, don’t rush, take your time to think about it and if you decide to go for it, always choose a experienced and qualified practitioner. And don't forget to be constant with these tips for clear skin if you really want to make a difference.
